The OTTEngine connector links your OTTEngine account to an AI assistant, so you can ask about your streaming business in conversation, in plain language. It works on one account: the one you sign in with.
| Area | What you can ask it to do |
|---|---|
| Content library | List and search your videos and read their details. |
| Apps | See your streaming apps and the platforms they run on, and read an app's settings, including branding, layout and monetization. |
| Reports | Platform, content, audience and live-stream analytics, and a summary of your account. |
| Help | Search the OTTEngine knowledge base and see your support tickets. |
OTTEngine customers. You need an OTTEngine account to sign in, and the connector can only see that account. If you don't have one yet, here is how to get started.
Connectors depend on your AI assistant and its plan. If you can't find the option to add one, check which of that provider's plans include connectors.
OTTEngine is a no-code platform for launching your own branded streaming apps on Roku, Fire TV, Apple TV, Android TV, Samsung and LG TVs, iOS and Android mobile, and the web, all managed from one dashboard. Sell subscriptions, run ads, stream live and see how your audience watches, without writing code.
Tell us about your channel and we'll show you how it works, or try it yourself: every plan comes with a 7-day free trial.
If you can't find OTTEngine in ChatGPT, contact support and we will point you to it.
https://mcp.ottengine.com/mcp Menu names in Claude change from time to time. If these don't match what you see, look for connectors or integrations in Claude's settings.
If you can't find OTTEngine in Muse, contact support and we will point you to it.
You sign in on OTTEngine's own sign-in page, with your dashboard account. Your AI assistant never sees your password. Once you approve, the assistant receives a token that lets it make requests to your account on your behalf, and only when you ask it to.
The connector asks for one permission, to read your account, and the sign-in screen shows it before you approve.
| Permission | What it allows |
|---|---|
| Read | See your account, apps, content, reports and support tickets. Scope: ottengine:read |
Ask in your own words; these are starting points. Every request only reads your data, so nothing in your account changes.
Which of my videos had the most watch time last month?Reads your content analytics. Nothing changes.
Give me a summary of my account: apps, platforms and how my audience is trending.Reads your account summary and audience reports.
Show me my Roku app's monetization settings.Reads one app's settings.
How many people watched my apps in the last 30 days?Reads your audience report.
Which of my videos have no description yet?Finds them in your content library.
Suggest better descriptions for my three newest videos.Reads the videos and drafts new text for you to copy into your dashboard. Nothing is saved.
How do I set up a 24/7 channel?Searches the OTTEngine knowledge base.
Do I have any open support tickets?Reads your support tickets.
You can end the connection at any time, from either side:
Disconnecting stops the assistant from making further requests to your account. It does not delete anything from your OTTEngine account.
OTTEngine only receives the requests the assistant sends to your account. We don't see your conversation, your chat history or the assistant's memory. The results of your requests go back to the AI provider you chose, inside your own conversation, and are governed by that provider's privacy policy. Two features, filling in missing metadata and searching our help content, send the text involved to an AI service provider that processes it on our behalf.
