How the estimator works
OTTEngine plans are tiered by the platforms supported, included storage, included monthly watch time, and the monetization models available. The estimator's recommendation engine starts from your minimum required tier (driven by platforms and monetization), then escalates one tier if your overages would exceed the price gap to the next plan - so the recommended plan is always the cheapest fit at your scale.
Plan logic
- 3 or more platforms, TVOD, or FAST / Linear channels → Broadcast Network floor
- 2 platforms, Live, mid-roll ads, or a single FAST channel → Broadcast floor
- 1 platform with VOD and SVOD / AVOD → Studio floor
- Each platform beyond the plan's included count → +$79/mo each
